Another very easy cake. It’s a butter cake made in a tray, covered in coloured buttercream icing (visit the recipe page for details).

The frog and lily-pads are made from pre-coloured supermarket-bought fondant. I used flower-shaped candle holders for the lily-pad flowers.

While this design is very simple, it did get a good reaction from the kids and they thoroughly enjoyed seeing their tongues turn blue from the icing.
